Dance around Latin Quarter

The Latin Quarter is rather poor in terms of clubbing. The few clubs in the area are generally housed in old vaulted cellars. In this remarkable setting, the atmosphere quickly becomes intimate.

Le Saint –

7 rue Saint-Séverin – 75005 Paris – Métro : Saint-Michelle saint

Under these mysterious vaults in the heart of the Latin Quarter, there is all-night dancing by the red neon lights, in front of the mirrors which surround the dance-floor in an atmosphere worthy of Count Dracula. On Thursdays from 7PM to 1AM, Le Saint hosts the most famous student “afterwork” in the capital. Atmosphere is guaranteed and no horns the next morning during classes…

Le Cap Rouge –

23 rue Mouffetard – 75005 Paris – Métro : Place-Mongecaprouge

Here, there’s a rich program with a different theme every night (Watch the bar, Loving Paris, etc …) but it’s still the same concept: cocktails at low prices, to be enjoyed in the lounge bar before getting down on the dance floor in disco space in the basement. Unfortunately, the welcome mojito is really bad, the club feels like a cellar and the dance floor is so crowded it’s almost impossible to get on it at the weekend. Claustrophobics should refrain
